One year I created all my Christmas tree
decorations from items I had on hand.
I remembered as a kid decorating the tree
with popcorn and cranberries, and paper
chains we made. It was a fun time with
eight brothers and sisters.

Garden Crafts
I have saved broken garden items and yardsale finds to recycle into beautiful garden crafts for any garden or home. Short days as well as being involved in many projects keeps me from going beyond dreaming. But who knows where the tomorrows will lead me, I might have to find a partner or sell everything.

Saving Empty Containers
Saving and reusing containers from Subway(salad)
and other containers food comes in. I have never
purchased plastic containers. They come in handy
for storing and transporting food to church suppers
and club refreshments. I have saved some money
and the containers can be used to hold craft items
and others areas of the house to keep small items
organized.

Making Changes to an old Highboy and Dresser.
My parents first dresser and highboy from the 60's I wanted to keep, but needed to make some changes.. I removed the large polished brass knobs and replace with wooden knobs that I varnished
and stenciled roses to appear like furniture of 20's or 30's. The mirror had some small damage that I stenciled again with roses to camouflage the chip. I love it for it brings back memories of how hard my parents worked to own this set.
